10 Quick Fire Questions: Matthew Cheung

Meet Matthew Cheung, born in Hong Kong & raised in Brisbane, Australia.

He just shot 7-under-par on his final round in Thailand, to qualify for his 2023 Asian Tour card. It came down to a final-day shootout across Hua Hin’s Lake View Resort and Golf Club’s A/B course, with 35 Tour cards up for grabs. Cheung and his compatriot Kho tied for 19th and 22nd, respectively – meaning they’d both qualified with plenty of shots to spare.

The Asian Tour will be rolling into town this month (23 - 26 March) where Matthew will be lining up with the likes of Poulter & Stenson. We’ve asked Matt a few questions so you can get to know him and cheer him on at Fanling.
